FORT WAYNE, Ind. (IN fort wayne)  – Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort Wayne announced Jan. 10 that Andrew Gritzmaker will be the organization’s new CEO effective Feb. 4.

Gritzmaker has served as the executive director for the Mad Anthonys Children’s Hope House (MACHH) since 2013. The nonprofit hospitality house provides shelter, meals, laundry facilities and a peaceful refuge for families with children who are critically ill or injured.

“While at MACHH, I witnessed the transformational impact of safe, secure short-term housing during medical crisis. I look forward to working with Habitat in an effort to provide permanent housing solutions that will impact families as well as our community for generations to come,” Gritzmaker said in the emailed statement.

Gritzmaker is a Fort Wayne native and a graduate of North Side High School and Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in public affairs and a Master of Arts in public management.
