Crew Lead Volunteer

Habitat Crew Leads are individuals who volunteer with us on the construction site 1-3x a week and assist our construction staff, volunteer groups, and Partner Families in the home-building process.

While experience in construction is always welcome, the majority of our Crew Leads had no experience prior to volunteering with Habitat. New members begin as Habitat volunteers and are paired with more experienced leads while they learn Habitat’s build processes and techniques. Once they’re familiar with the different construction stages and skillsets of building a home, new Crew Leads begin to lead volunteers in performing various tasks.

Project Leaders

Individuals interested in leading projects will assist our site managers in working with volunteers and ensuring all daily build projects are completed. They work with the other Crew Leads, future Habitat Homeowners, and single-day volunteers to ensure safety, efficiency, and morale.
