What to expect
Carol’s Story
After paying $1,500/month in rent for a mobile home, Carol was ready to have an affordable home that she owned.
Carol always dreamed of owning a home, but never thought it was possible financially. It wasn’t long ago that she found herself paying $1,500/month rental payments for a mobile home. “It made me so mad that I was putting money into something that wasn’t mine.”
Through Habitat, Carol is now working toward a safe, affordable home she can call her own while setting an example for her daughters, and building a future filled with hope. “Thanks to Habitat,” she says, “I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.”
