every home is a building block

A Habitat home is a symbol of hope —a fresh start full of stability, safety, and financial freedom. Community support keeps the cost of each home low which enables Habitat to create opportunities for low- to middle-income families to purchase the home with an affordable mortgage.

While 1 in 6 families pay more than 50% or more of their income on housing, Habitat mortgage payments are never more than 26% of a family’s gross monthly income.

  • I have to pinch myself because I can’t believe this is my home. I love to decorate and my favorite part of the house is the open living room and kitchen…I love how it turned out after I made it my own.
