Habitat for Humanity in Allen County
Allen County is the largest county Habitat GFW currently serves. The majority of our Allen County builds are located in Fort Wayne, with a few in New Haven. Families interested in applying for the Homeownership Program who have lived or worked in Allen County for at least a year can visit our Become a Homeowner page for more information.
Southeast Fort Wayne
Over a 3 to 5 year period, Habitat will invest $10-12M in the Southeast Fort Wayne neighborhoods.

To say the Madison family is hard-working doesn’t begin to cover it. Adam is legally blind. Trisha has faced debilitating nervous system issues for much of her adult life. And yet, they show up daily with strength, compassion, and perseverance. They are devoted parents to three children and caretakers to Trisha’s brother, who lives with both Down Syndrome and autism.
Thanks to donors like you, the Madisons now live in a home designed to meet their unique needs—a fully ADA-compliant Habitat home that provides more than just shelter. With wider doorways and hallways, grab bars in every bathroom, and no stairs to navigate, this home offers safety, dignity, and a sense of peace.
