Founded in 1986, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort Wayne serves Allen, Wells, and Huntington counties.

We are a non-profit, non-denominational Christian homebuilder that seeks to put God’s love into action by uniting community donors, volunteers, and qualified Habitat families to build homes, communities, and hope.

Get Involved

A few hours of work or a meal to feed our volunteers on the job site — whatever your strength, we rely on our faithful volunteers to help us transform our community.

Who is a Habitat Homeowner?

A Habitat homeowner is a hardworking individual or family with a dream of affordable homeownership.

My favorite part of our house is the kitchen, it’s what brings us together at the end of a long day. It feels good to have a place to call home and to give my kids a stable place to grow up in — this means the world to us.
