Group of Partner Families at Orientation 2024

34 New Families Joined Habitat!

This month we welcomed 34 qualified families from Allen County into our Homeownership Program. It was a wonderful night to celebrate this accomplishment for each future homeowner and go over expectations and what the next 12-24 months will look like as they complete the program.

Thank you Jerry + Bill

We celebrated our Crew Leads and construction team with a summer picnic and recognized Jerry Spice and Bill Scott with a Habitat hammer plaque for their dedicated service to Habitat GFW families.

We could not do what we do without this amazing group. They guide our volunteers on the construction site, donate countless hours of their time every week, and put God’s love into action for our Partner Families. Thank you Habitat GFW Crew Leads!

Updated Home Elevations

Side by side of Triumph floorplan home comparing old design to new design

One of our construction goals this season was to add more texture and interest to our homes’ front elevations while maintaining affordability. As you drive around the Ren. Pointe neighborhood in Fort Wayne you’ll see that we’ve added board and batten siding and updated roof lines as seen above in our 3-bed, 2-bath floorplan.

Thank you Trevor Bauer for donating your time to help us improve our homes and continue investing in Southeast Fort Wayne!
