With winter around the corner, below are some community resources that might help lighten the load this season.
Homeownership Applications Open for individuals who have lived or worked in Huntington County for the past 12 months. Learn more
This month, we started construction on the first of two new Habitat homes in Huntington County! Future Homeowners Melissa, Amanda, and Zac worked side-by-side with Women Build volunteers from Gerdau to raise the walls of our first home at 633 E High Street.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the press conference, and a huge thank you to our community supporters for making this day possible.
Zac and Amanda are building the stability they always wished for growing up. With two young daughters, their home is filled with energy, imagination, and hope for what’s ahead. Their oldest has already picked out her bedroom in their future Habitat home!
Homeownership will be peace of mind: “We will never have to worry about rent going up,” Amanda shared. “There will always be a place for our daughters to grow up and come home to.”
