Women Build 2025 is sold out, meet the Madison family, tool boxes needed, and more happening this spring at Habitat GFW>
Our 8th Annual ReStore Your Passion was packed with fun, food, and fundraising for Habitat families! From dazzling DIY furniture pieces to community connections, this year’s event was buzzing with excitement—and packed with purpose.
Since launching in 2018, ReStore Your Passion has helped fund 11 Habitat homes—all thanks to our generous sponsors, donors, attendees, and the one-of-a-kind furniture creations from our fabulous Goddess Contractor teams.
We added a brand-new twist this year—our first-ever Key Raffle. For $50, guests grabbed a key—if their number was called, they got their chance to try a mystery key in the prize door. The lucky keyholder? They unlocked 4 hours with a handyman!
We also awarded second and third place prizes: a ReStore shopping spree and a gift basket packed with Habitat swag.
Huge thanks to Gen-D for sponsoring the grand prize—this new addition was a total crowd favorite and helped raise an incredible $4,900 for Habitat families!
Every year, our Goddess Contractors bring creativity and heart to the table. These inspiring women leaders rally a team, raise funds, and breathe new life into secondhand furniture donated through the Habitat ReStore.
Each piece is completely reimagined, styled to perfection, and revealed at the event, ready to be auctioned off with all the accessories included. The result? One-of-a-kind home treasures that support even more families on their journey to safe, affordable housing.
“I wanted my son to see that his mom could do it, and one day he could do it too. Creating generational wealth—passing that on to my son and then maybe even my grandchildren—that’s what this means to me.”
Equatia
Habitat Homeowner
It wouldn’t be a true Habitat for Humanity event without the voices that matter most—our homeowners. This year, we were honored to welcome Adrienne and Equatia, two incredible women who recently achieved their dream of homeownership.
Adrienne took the stage to share part of her journey, reflecting on the transformation that came with building and owning her home:
“The greatest thing I gained through the Habitat program was knowledge. I learned that if I put my best foot forward, I can do anything.”
We’re sending a huge thank you to Abby with AJS Photo for capturing the magic of the night—just before heading off to her own elopement!
We’re also grateful to The Baldus Company and Specialized Printed Products for their generous donation of printed materials that helped bring our event vision to life.
And a big round of applause for our event partners: The Steffen Group, Shaffer Multimedia, Speedbird Hangar Team, Cindy Friend, LIT Impressions, Hoover the Mover, and Mutton Party & Tent Rental—your behind-the-scenes support made everything run smoothly and look amazing!
