Rick Johnson
Wells Area Manager
Rick Johnson first joined the Habitat team in July 2024 as a Construction Site Manager after having served 40+ years in ministry as the Development Director for Youth for Christ (Bluffton) and a church planter in Tucson, AZ.
After a year at Habitat on the construction team, Rick now serves as the Wells Area Manager. Born and (mostly) raised in Wells County, he graduated from Norwell High School and later earned a degree in Christian Education from Huntington University. Rick is focused on expanding Habitat’s presence in Wells County, building strong relationships with local churches, businesses, and community members to address the growing need for affordable housing.
Rick and his wife, Lori, have been married for 40 years and have four children and five of the best grandkids you could ever ask for. They attend Hope Missionary Church in Bluffton and share their home with Rudy, their lovable dachshund—”you just can’t not love him!”
