Yes! Anyone and everyone is welcome to shop and donate to the Fort Wayne Habitat ReStore.

All of the proceeds go directly to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort Wayne, to build homes for low- to middle-income families in Allen, Huntington, and Wells Counties. Learn more about our Homeownership Program.

We sell both donated and brand-new home improvement and household items to the public with discounts typically ranging from 25-40% off retail. We do extensive research online to make sure the prices are low but fair. Items also get monthly markdowns if they are still available.

Many of the “new” items you see in the store are actually purchased by the ReStore to ensure we are fully stocked with a variety of products. Because we have to cover the acquisition costs on these particular items, they’re typically priced higher than donated goods, often appearing closer to standard retail prices. Ultimately, we do our best to balance providing great deals and a broad inventory in the store, all while trying to raise the most funds for our mission. Your purchase from the ReStore helps fund safe, affordable Habitat houses for local families!

No. The store gladly accepts cash, most major credit cards, and debit cards, but no checks.

All in-store sales are final. Non-working appliances and electronics may be returned within 14 days of purchase. A receipt is required for all returns.

Only purchased items too large to fit into the customer’s vehicle (as determined by ReStore staff) will be placed in a ReStore holding area for customer pickup. Items will remain on hold for three (3) business days. At the end of business on the fourth day, unclaimed purchased items will be considered donated to ReStore and returned to the sales floor to be available for purchase. No refunds or exchanges are given for purchased items left on hold for more than four days.

Items not purchased but tagged as HOLD will only remain on hold for one hour. No overnight holds. Items on hold at the end of the business day will be sold.
