2023 Annual Report

A note from our CEO

As I reflect on this past build season, I can’t help but be filled with gratitude for all we’ve accomplished together. With your unwavering support and dedication, the lives of families in our community are being transformed.

One of our proudest achievements in the 2023-24 build season was reaching our new home production goal. Back in 2019, we set out with a clear vision: to build 20 new homes sustainably each year. Through the generosity of our donors and the tireless efforts of our staff and volunteers, we not only met this goal…we exceeded it! 72 children now have a stable place to grow and play, parents have an affordable mortgage and financial security for their families, and communities have new homes built on previously empty lots.

As we look ahead to “what’s next” we’re shifting our goals from homes built to families served. For this next season, we’ll be serving a record 26 families. Through our homebuilding efforts and partnerships with other local homebuilders, we’re continuing to increase our impact in Allen, Huntington, and Wells Counties — preparing more families for homeownership, building more homes families can afford, and creating more opportunities to build generational wealth.
