Equatia with Women Build construction volunteers

Meet Equatia

Equatia would arrive at 8 am to complete her sweat equity on the construction site, just after finishing a full shift at work. The days were long, but her smile was always there to greet our staff and volunteers!

Our Women Build teams poured into Equatia through their encouraging words, laughter, and their willingness to show up and say “I’m with you!”

Equatia is a testament to hard work, perseverance, and patience — when you chip away at your goal every day you will realize your dreams. She and her son are now enjoying their new Habitat home thanks to your donations and volunteer hours!
