A note from our CEO
I love the work we do at Habitat. I love it for several reasons. One of those reasons is pictured here, our homeowners. Marissa is a business owner and has known hard work her whole life. Her journey to homeownership was no different. She put in 200 hours of sweat equity and completed 8 classes centered on financial literacy and homebuyer education, all while still growing her business and striving for a better life for herself and her daughter.
I often say that the families in our program don’t need charity—they just need an opportunity. They put in the effort to prepare for homeownership, while Habitat, with the support of amazing community partners like you, provides the capital. The result? An affordable mortgage on a beautiful home.
Another reason I love this work is that we never do it alone. This mission is powered by incredible community partners and dedicated volunteers. Last year, X volunteers helped provide housing for 26 families. At Habitat, we believe everyone has something to contribute and something to gain from creating communities where all people have decent, affordable places to live.
It truly takes a village, and I’m deeply thankful for each and every one of you.

What We Do
Homebuilder
Our Construction team, volunteer Crew Leads, and community volunteers build homes for low- to middle-income families.
Homeowner Advocacy
Our Homeowner Services team walks alongside qualified families through a holistic home-buying process.
Retail Store
The Habitat ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center that serves our community through discounted products and sales support building Habitat homes.
