Habitat GFW Announces CEO Transition

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort Wayne (Habitat GFW) congratulates CEO, Andrew Gritzmaker, as he accepts his new role as President & CEO at YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne (YMCA GFW) beginning December 19, 2022. Habitat GFW is excited for Gritzmaker to continue serving the community in a new capacity and is grateful for his leadership over the last four years.

Jeremy McClish, Habitat GFW’s current COO, will step into the role of Interim CEO beginning Dec. 1, 2022. McClish is an integral part of Habitat GFW’s continued growth and success in recent years — most notably overseeing two major milestones this year in building 19 homes in a single season and welcoming 36 new Partner Families to the program. He has served the organization since July 2017 and is committed to continue advocating for the incredible need in our community for affordable homeownership in this new role.

Jeremy McClish serves on the board of the Northeastern REMC, is very active in his church community, and in his spare time, enjoys life with his wife Molly and their three children. Jeremy’s gift is to support the team at Habitat GFW — he believes this is where God has placed him and it’s up to him to follow that call. “For me, it’s all about working hard and being faithful with what God gives you to do in every area of your life.”

One of Jeremy’s favorite moments at Habitat is each time a partner family raises the walls to their first home — “It’s a special moment when they get to see the culmination of months of hard work.”
