It’s been a great month at Habitat! We celebrated two new homeowners, Amber and Jean. We’re beyond proud of their hard work to reach this milestone, and we’re praying for both families as they transition to homeownership and enjoy their new homes.

A History of Recycling for Good
Recycling Cans to Build Habitat Homes
As we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we’re looking back on the decades of recycling efforts for Habitat in our community. Over the years, many students and community volunteers have helped build and paint can sheds, spearheaded recycling initiatives at work, home, and school, and several have volunteered to collect the cans around town — all to raise money to build affordable homes.
Thank you to all of the volunteers and supporters over the years who have made (and are still making) the Habitat can program possible!

Our 2nd annual collaboration with local nonprofit thrift stores for the Fort Wayne Nonprofit Thrift Trail is back! Join us for 30% off at each store (with your passport), scavenger hunts, and lots of fun!

Lutheran Health Network Panel Build
LHN teams made it through one of the hottest days of the summer by building all the walls of a Habitat home in just 4 hours!
We even had a special visit from Fort Wayne Komets’ very own Icy.

We had so much fun participating in our first Mighty Match Up with Blue Jacket, Inc. and Embassy Theatre!

We brought the construction site to Coca-Cola’s parking lot. Thank you to everyone who helped build all of the interior and exterior walls of a home for a local Habitat family.
