We celebrated seven home dedications — five in Fort Wayne and two in Huntington. Between these seven families, 20 children have already been impacted by affordable homeownership. A bedroom of their own, a yard to play in, and an address that won’t change because increased rent is no longer an issue for mom and/or dad. Thank you to all of our supporters — you are impacting the lives of Habitat families for generations to come.

We kicked off our 2024-25 season on April 24th and announced we will serve a record 26 Habitat families. Our press conference was held in Renaissance Pointe where we now have a mix of completed homes, nearly finished homes, and newly poured concrete slabs.
Six homes this season will be built through partnerships with other local homebuilders making it possible for us to increase the impact for local families waiting for affordable homeownership opportunities.

Our annual ReStore Your Passion event was full of fun, food, and fundraising to combat the affordable housing crisis in our community. We “oohed and ahhed” at each refurbished Goddess Contractor piece, enjoyed local eats, and heard from new Habitat homeowners Vincent and Gentile as they shared how their Habitat home has changed their family’s life.

April 26 through May 11, 2024 all windows at the Fort Wayne ReStore are 50% off — includes already reduced prices.
Each April, ReStores across the U.S. encourage customers to make a donation by rounding-up their purchase. This year, the Fort Wayne ReStore accepted 281 donations, a 19% increase from last year! All proceeds stay in our community to build homes in Greater Fort Wayne.
We will begin accepting homeownership applications for individuals who have been living and/or working in Huntington County for at least the past 12 months. Applications accepted May 13 through 27, 2024.
CLOSED for Memorial Day The ReStore and Habitat offices will be closed Monday, May 27.
